Since 2009 MediNova’s (formerly known as NOAH NY) mission is to provide access to medical care to underserved communities in Northeastern Haiti. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to document their mission.
The Georgie Badiel Foundation believes that all human beings have a fundamental right to available clean drinking water, sanitation facilities and education. They are committed to building, restoring and maintaining wells, as well as providing sanitation facilities in Burkina Faso and their neighboring Sub-Saharan African countries . By doing so, they enable millions of women and children to get an education and contribute to their communities versus spending the majority of their time traveling long-distances to fetch water.
Co-founded in 2003 by Alicia Keys as an emergency response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, KCA has since established itself as a global leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS by providing children, young people and their families with comprehensive treatment, care and support to not only survive but thrive for a lifetime.
